Isabel joined Nucleus Advisors in 2021 and leads the practice’s Client Service team. In this role, she brings together operational excellence, deep interpersonal skill, and a genuine commitment to helping clients and their families feel understood and professionally supported.
Prior to joining Nucleus, Isabel built more than a decade of experience in banking and insurance before applying her education and training in psychology to coaching and counseling at-risk families and teens through nonprofit healthcare organizations serving communities in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Her work across multicultural and multigenerational communities continues to shape the way she serves clients today—with empathy, clarity, and a strong appreciation for the family dynamics, life transitions, and personal goals that often sit behind important financial decisions.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Isabel earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Politécnico Grancolombiano. After discovering her life mission—to champion and support individuals as they journey through developmental windows on the way to meaningful goals—she moved to Miami in 2010 to continue her education. She studied English as a Second Language at Miami Dade College and later earned a B.S. in Psychology from Florida International University, graduating summa cum laude and being elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She then earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Florida International University, where she further developed her skills in psychotherapy, human development, and understanding family stories.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Isabel is especially attuned to Nucleus’ multicultural clients, families, and communities. She is passionate about coaching others toward success, strengthening interpersonal relationships, and creating service experiences that are thoughtful, responsive, and grounded in trust.
Isabel lives in Miami Beach, FL, with her husband and their daughter, Emma.
