At Nucleus, Jonathon supports the team’s investment reporting and portfolio operations, helping ensure private asset data is accurate, timely, and decision ready. He works closely with analysts, fund managers, and Hightower’s reporting teams to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve how new investments and technology integrate into client reporting. Since joining the team in February 2026, he has been focused on growing as a NexGen leader while gaining exposure to Nucleus’s full portfolio management stack, from asset allocation to due diligence.
Jonathon’s background sits at the intersection of investment analytics and data infrastructure. He has worked across performance reporting, alternative investments, and real estate analytics, with a consistent focus on building clean systems, reconciling complex data, and making investment information both accurate and actionable. He earned a Master of Science in Business Analytics with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance from James Madison University. He also holds the Series 65 license.
The Nucleus value Jonathon identifies with most is Curiosity. He is wired to question assumptions, look for blind spots, and understand not just what the numbers say, but why they say it. He believes strong decision-making comes from intellectual honesty: surfacing risks, challenging narratives, and prioritizing truth over comfort. He values diverse perspectives, knowing they lead to better portfolios and stronger teams.
Outside of work, Jonathon spends as much time as he can in the mountains — drawn to technical routes, long days, and terrain that demands focus, humility, and perseverance. Some of his favorite climbs include routes on El Capitan, Devil’s Tower, the Royal Arches, the Wolf’s Head in the Wind River Range, and Mytikas on Mount Olympus. He gravitates toward challenges that require preparation, problem-solving, and resilience.
Jonathon and his wife, Rachel, live in Mount Vernon, New York, where they share a love of staying active and exploring new places. He enjoys digging into markets, training hard, and continually leveling up — whether on a wall or in the world of finance and data.
